Nate Beasley, nickname GIORGIO D, in late 1979 while spinning classic RnB and disco classics in the NYC club CeSoir, was often teased by his closest friends by comparing him to the great Giorgio Moroder’s “Here To Eternity” album cover, for wearing sunglasses while performing his sets. Since the age of 14, he began DJing inspired by listening to his father who played and also loved music such as, Jazz, Blues, RnB, and also by David Williams, John Monaco, Kenny Carpenter, Shep Pettibone, Tony Humphries, Tee Scott, Timmy Regisford and Larry Levan. In the late 70s to early 80s, Giorgio performed in clubs, Ce Soir NYC, Saturn Brooklyn, Le Coco NYC, Brown Sugar Brooklyn, Liquid Love Brooklyn. Over time a change of career prompted him to leave the club scene for a number of years but now he’s back in action spreading some maximum soulful house and he has a goal to become a mixer and a producer.
