Coming from the Southside of Chicago, Chuck P started playing music at small venues and basement parties back in 1986.  Like many up and coming jocks in the 80’s, Chuck P was a huge fan of legendary DJ’s Ron Hardy and Frankie Knuckles.  These established professionals had attained worldwide prowess for being fierce in the booth with energy and musical selections that kept people on the dance floor without taking a break.  Chuck P soon developed the similar philosophy of never taking a record off, “every musical selection counts” as he recalls his days of playing to large basement audiences across the city.
